Cardiac First Response (CFR) Instructor course is to equip the student with the relevant instructional methods – knowledge and skills to design, deliver and evaluate a PHECC CFR-C course and to assess course participants
In order to maintain your qualification, you will be required to deliver at least 4 courses within the two-year certification period & complete a recertification course every 2 years.
Attendees must complete a CFR-C & FAR COURSE and certs must still be in Date, Also Train the trainer or QQI Level 6 in Manual handling Instructor, or some form of Teaching or Training Qualification.
Cardiac First Response (CFR) Instructor course may be a healthcare practitioner or a member of the public who has undertaken a Cardiac First response course and wishes to become an instructor. The Cardiac First response Instructor will be taught how to deliver a 1 day CFR-C course. Be able to teach students to assess and manage patients in accordance with the PHECC CFR standard.

The course is delivered as a two-day face to face course by an instructor trainer who will use videos & sample presentations and role-play to guide you through the course. The course is delivered through English.
